As a new client who has decided to join The Vitality Project, what can you, the client expect to experience?
The ultimate intention of The Vitality Project is to improve an individual’s current level of health and well-being, subsequently providing an opportunity for a prolonged sense of vitality.
The Vitality Project is designed to shift your current health status on the health continuum to a place where it belongs, that being to a more positive side of the scale, further removed from where it currently resides.
So what can a client actually experience while being involved in The Vitality Project?
Well, it certainly depends upon many factors, some of which can be controlled, and others cannot. However, here is a short list of some very realistic expectations which a client may consider.
- Improved body composition. (Not just weight loss!)
- Improved physiology. (Regulation of blood pressure, etc.)
- Improved functional capacity. (Ability to complete physical tasks)
- Improved mental and emotional status. (Improved clarity and less stress response)
- Improved levels of energy and well-being.
- Improved aging process.
- Improved physical appearance and quality of life.
- An enhanced, inspired attitude towards life.
Certainly, there are no guarantees that The Vitality Project can, or will be the answer to all of the client’s potential health concerns. However, the methodology utilized in The Vitality Project is accurate, evidenced-based and designed to provide the client with meaningful but realistic results.
I use the term realistic simply because, at times the expectations of any particular client may not be feasible given the particular nature of their particular health circumstance. This is frequently not the client’s fault, as we are constantly being bombarded with questionable methods of health care processes and delivery systems which, although sounding enticing, do not live up to serious scrutiny.
The Vitality Project is a process and involves several steps, the most important of which involve the client’s own level of participation and ability to make responsible and reasonable, sustained changes in their attitudes and actions.
The best, most intelligently designed program provided to a client does not, nor could it ever determine the level of measured success that a given client would expect.
The other factors which determine the successful outcome of any health consultant-client encounter, (regardless of how you choose to measure it) involve coaching, peer support, client skill acquisition and, most importantly active client engagement.
The Vitality Project is not a system of health care delivery which relies upon a passive model. Quite to the contrary, The Vitality Project is an active, interactive and supportive model of health care delivery which has at its core the active participation of its client’s to ensure optimum health and vitality outcomes which can be measured and evaluated.
