Welcome to The Vitality Project!
You know I have seen many people that go to the gym almost every day with the hopes of getting in better shape, creating a better body and feeling better about themselves.
Despite the fact thet they are there every day, nothing seeems to be changing in the way that they would like. Their body continues to look the same and the whole concept of going to exercise at then gym seems to become increasingly pointless.
Don’t dispair, you need some coaching and a new perspective from someone who can see the big picture and guide you through the process because it is a process. This process is just as much mental as it is physical.
The three biggest mistakes I see people make is not pay enough attention to their diet, assuming that exercise will make up for any dietary shortcomings….it doesn’t. Or they are not getting enough rest and are always running on empty. Your body will not respond well to what you ask of it when you are always in a state of exhaustion. Lastly, most people think that by just doing more in the gym, they will break-out of this rut and “shock” their bodies into reacting appropriately.
but not in a very positive manner to this strategy. If anything, taking some time off from the gym, reviewing your fitness program, diet, stress levels and addressing your sleep requirements may be your best alternative.
Remember, more is not necessarily bettter. If your body is not responding well in the gym and you feel quite lousy after a workout, this is a signal that a change is neccessary.
Maybe I can help?
