Welcome To The Vitality Project!
As a professional health coach concerned with the health and well-being of my clients it is my intention to improve your well-being and longevity by using the principles of nutrition, fitness, diet, lifestyle dynamics, and anti-aging medicine.
I thought that I would write something a bit less clinical….less factual and much less scientific.
This article is based upon my own experience, what I have read, learned and understood to be best manner with which to realize a successful outcome in your life.
No…it is not a guru “do as I do” scenario or one of those ooooo….awe-type deals!
If you take some time and look at why people go off the rails and not spend so much time on where….the answer become much more obvious. It become much more clear when you consider what they changed to get to the outcome they desired.
Oh….and it doesn’t really matter as to what situation you are referring.
The workplace, your career, your relationships and…yes most importantly your own health status.
Here is the thing….no-one is responsible for your health other than you….as much as folks would like to pawn their specific health circumstances forward on to someone else or something else….it does not stand-up to a reasonable degree of scrutiny.
Here is the key to moving forward and improving an outcome you really want to change.

There are three things that you must analyze when you wish to achieve something important and meaningful in your life…regardless of what this may look like.
It’s a step by step process….yes…it’s a process to the successful outcome.
No short-cuts allowed! This is the reason why folks do not get to where they want to go…they want to get there as fast and with the least amount of effort possible.
Can you imagine how anything could be accomplished with this mentality?
Unfortunately…this is where most people fall off the rails….right at the beginning of their journey.
Here are the steps in order.
To get to # 3….you MUST complete # 1 and # 2.
When you hire a guru, read a book, try a new diet or exercise program, do what your friend does, use information from a seminar or incorporate what a commercial indicates…..you are going right to # 2 or # 3.
In order to achieve any important goal….there must be change!
A change in thinking is the most important, powerful and necessary component of any process by which you seek a better outcome…or # 3 on our list.
This is why going right to # 2 or # 3 almost never works….there was no change in how you think and no change in you.
Remember how you got to where you are right now….if you change how and what you think…this will lead you to the correct and most appropriate behavior (action-steps) which will result in a new direction for you and a better chance at realizing a better outcome.
Although I am simplifying this process…it is far from simple…it is very difficult to actually change someone’s thinking regarding their health or any other issue for that matter.
Before I can help anyone with their health….I must get them to realize that they way they think regarding their own health is seriously flawed.
Before you can get to your desired goals, you and your team must be capable of changing your direction based upon a change in thinking.
If you proceed right to step # 2 or #3….although much less work and a greater level of convenience is associated….it will not lead to an outcome that will be sustainable.
If you look at why people or teams do not succeed….have a look at step # 1 first before you do anything else…figure out that your thinking basically decides what action(s) you take and what direction you go….the outcome is there….you just need to work your plan and be willing to change it or modify it if need be.
